Best place in town for brunch on Saturday and Sunday morning...if you like to party. Good hearty food, live music Sunday and a good place to hang and throw a few back with locals. This place is nothing, if not fun.
I've been here a few times and have never had a good experience. The last time I was there was a few years ago and the bar had been raided by police officers because of the number of underage customers. I heard that it improved so I tried it again tonight for dinner. Out of five people at the table, only one person's food was made correctly and she said it still did not taste very good. They left toppings off all of the sandwiches and said they were "too busy" to make one person a sandwich without chicken because she's a vegetarian. It'll probably be years again before I give the Village Idiot another shot.
Lee Ann - best bartender ever! The rest of the idiots are pretty awesome too.. Very helpful staff... attention to detail makes all the difference which sets this pub apart
We didn't have a terrific dining experience here. Their bar was great but, their food wasn't terrific. I had a burger that didn't have much flavor to it but was served on a nice bun. It was nice sitting near the windows, though.
Went to Halloween contest. Obviously was fixed as finalists that the waitress picked were not the best ones. They Wanted the tree costume to win.
